We the People ask the Administration to remove James Comey from the position of Director of the FBI

Created by L.K. on November 12, 2016

Mr. Comey has used poor judgement in publicly disclosing matters pertaining to Federal investigations close to Presidential elections. These acts are likely violations of the Hatch Act, and had severe consequences on the elections. Mr. Comey sent a letter to Congress on October 28, 2016, on agency letterhead, that had plenty of innuendo and few facts—one of which was that he was taking actions to investigate a Presidential candidate. He
wrote a letter to his employees further further disclosing that he had started an investigation into a Presidential candidate. On Tuesday, July 5, 2016, referred to a Presidential candidate’s actions as “extremely careless.” He further raised questions about the Presidential candidate’s judgement.
