We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

We the People ask the federal government to ban the National Security Agency's surveillance programs over the Internet.

Created by K.N. on December 01, 2016

The NSA's surveillance programs are unconstitutional, breaching the US’ citizens rights of privacy and freedom of speech. The programs are also expensive. The money could have been spent on other potentially more beneficial policies. The NSA’s surveillance programs are also hurting the US economy because of its ties with the tech industry, making its consumer and trade partners feel unsafe and insecure.
