We the people ask the federal government to call upon congress to declare war against Syria and to end the Assad regime.

Syrian president Bashar al-Assad has committed far too many atrocities against the people of his nation for a nation like the United States to ignore. Not only is he causing destruction in his own nation, the flood of refugees are causing harm to other nations. We are not asking for another war that wouldn't achieve its goals and cause massive harm to our economy. We want an operation that can kill or capture Bashar al-Assad, ending his regime. We also want a maintained military presence afterwards, ensuring the stability of the nation, and making sure the Syrian rebels don't turn into an American enemy. Something like this would allow millions of Syrians to live peacefully in their home country, end a dictators regime, and make a show of force for the US , ensuring a balance of power.
