We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

We the People ask the federal government to condemn the acts of violence in wake of Trump becoming president-elect

Created by N.S. on November 17, 2016

Since Nov. 8th, Anti-Trump protests have erupted across the nation. Although protesting is part of your 1st amendment constitutional right, the violence within the crowds deserve nothing less than condemnation. This week alone, there has been 112 arrests made in Portland, Oregon. It will only continue to get worse, as The Washington Post reported that the protesters claimed this is only a taste of what is to come. It is time for elected officials to promote protesting, all while denouncing the violence within.
