Currently Blizzard Entertainment controls the copyright for the online game "World of Warcraft"
The purpose of this petition is to enlist the president's and congress' aid in calling on them to permit, if not directly create, so called "legacy" servers of their game. These servers would run the original version of the title which was in circulation about 10 years ago, and not the newest versions which are FAR FAR different in virtually every way and not an enjoyable experience for a sizable number of people.
I am not calling for changes to copyright law, rather a friendly nudge to help them see the profit windfall and potential benefit to millions of people if they act on this is a positive way.
