We the people ask the government to remove special months dedicated to a specific race, gender, or sexuality. Months based on race, gender, or sexuality separate us as a people. We are all Americans first and foremost. We may be unique and different but we should all be equal. Having months specified for a specific group based on their race, gender, or sexuality builds walls between us. Caucasians, straight people, and males do not have a month. This is not equal. Still, that being said, they should not as this would also divide us as a people. We the people request that all months based off these things be abolished bringing us one step closer as a nation.
