Suppressors are currently banned in 8 states for civilian use. For those who wish to negate noise pollution, to hunt and not scare any animal a mile away, to just enjoy casually plinking. We are forbidden, for what? Plus a 200 dollar tax? It's unreasonable in today's society and the ever growing number of gun lovers heavily reject this ban. The fear mongering in movies helped get suppressors banned, the argument being only assassins and criminals need them. That is simply far from the truth. In states that have legalized them for civilian use, data shows little to no use for suppressors in crime. As with many gun laws, they're not based on logic, just based on fear. We respect the government but heavily reject this ban and tax. We the people ask for a repeal of bans on suppressors.
