Donald J Trump has gone to extraordinary lengths to disrespect the twice elected President Barack Obama. Since 2008, Mr. Trump has been a champion of the birther movement, has entertained accusations of treason, has accused the Commander in Chief of being the "Founder of ISIS", a terrorist organization.
The President, and his esteemed cabinet, should not capitulate to a man who has made it his mission to say deeply hurtful and disrespectful things.
Insure a complete and thorough transition, handover and preparation for the Trump Administration, and then decline the invitation to the party celebrating a man so divisive and disrespectful.
