We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

We the people ask President-elect Trump to give a speech against recent hate crimes and violence.

Created by K.A. on November 14, 2016

Can the Obama administration please deliver this to the Trump administration?
President-elect Trump has committed to bringing the country together. With attacks on human dignity occurring on a daily basis around the US in his name, it is imperative President-elect Trump speak out against hate crimes against LGBTQ persons, African Americans, Hispanics, Muslims, and women. An effective speech from Trump against hate crimes, and with a message of hope like the one delivered in his victory speech, is essential for bringing the country together and encouraging children to not be scared to go to school.
