11 days before the election, in violation of Dept of Justice protocols, Dir. Comey delivered to Congressional leaders of the Republican Party a letter announcing the discovery of e-mails in an unrelated investigation and implied they could new and additional imaginary criminal activities about the Democratic Party candidate. As neither Dir. Comey nor any of his agents have yet read the e-mails and have no direct knowledge of their contents, this can only be construed as a blatant attempt to influence the election in favor of the political party that he is a member of. This is a clear violation of the Hatch Act of 1939 and requires his removal from office.
