Just two days after a divisive election, there are reports on social media and in the news of violence, harassment, and bullying directed at citizens of every stripe. It would be a powerful event if President Obama and President-Elect Trump would, together, quickly create a joint public service announcement for television and social media decrying such abusive behavior. Individual pronouncements are laudable, but the two of you standing together to deliver that message would speak volumes.
