We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

We the People ask President Obama to demand the resignation of FBI Director James Comey or terminate his employment.

Created by S.B. on October 29, 2016

Whereas, FBI Director James Comey, in his own words, said, “Of course, we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record," and, “Given that we don’t know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails, I don’t want to create a misleading impression," we the People find that Director Comey's decision to use his power and office as Director of the FBI to publicly release a statement to Congress regarding the matter of Secretary Clinton's email investigation construes an illegal engagement in political speech under the Hatch Act with intent to influence the perception of Secretary Clinton's knowledge, and/or actions in this unrelated FBI investigation.
