In order to ensure the integrity of the very foundation of our democracy - our elections - We the People ask that legislation be drafted stating that a majority consensus by US intelligence agencies of election tampering in a national election immediately triggers a re-vote.
Even the worlds most powerful democracy cannot rely on cyber security alone as its primary defense against election tampering. We need a LEGAL/LEGISLATIVE DETERRENT.
We deter people from taking hostages with more than just force, by standing firm and not negotiating with terrorists. We need to deter people from tampering with our elections with more than cyber security, by enacting legislation that triggers re-votes. Why tamper with an American election if evidence of that tampering automatically triggers a re-vote?
