The first thing to understand is guns do not kill, people do. Second if guns are banned, only criminals will have guns. Chicago is the prime example.
Teachers are given the duty and responsibility to protect their students, our children. Those teachers that are able to, and can qualify for proper gun usage, maybe a police academy training, should be allowed conceal carry in the classrooms.
I realize that this will not prevent all incidents but could reduce the murder rates.
