We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

We the people, call for a Commission on Truth and Accountability for the Invasion of Iraq and the Iraq War

Created by J.E. on October 11, 2016

Fourteen years after the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq, two things are clear:
The leaders who coerced Congress into sanctioning war did so on false claims.
The costs of the invasion of Iraq and Iraq war have been immeasurable and continue to impact people, communities, nations and the planet.
The American public must hold former leaders accountable for deliberately misinforming the American public to legitimize a pre-emptive strike. Transparency is the first step in coming to terms with violations of international law committed by individuals and the U.S. government. We the people, call for the creation of a Commission on Truth and Accountability on the Invasion of Iraq and the Iraq War to investigate how the U.S. led a coalition of nations to invade Iraq under false pretenses.
