We the People believe the Senate has been given a reasonable opportunity to provide Advice and Consent, but the Senate is unwilling to take up either of these duties. As outlined in Mr. Diskant’s piece, we request that President Obama appoint Judge Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court of the United States if the Senate fails to act upon its duties before the end of its current term.
