We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

We, the people of Chengdu, prefers clean air to GDP figure

Created by J.C. on December 08, 2016

Chengdu, China's air quality condition has worsened rapidly (http://aqicn.org/city/chengdu/) ever since the inception of The Paraxylene (PX) Project in Pengzhou city near Chengdu.

While lots of people urged the government to investigate/stop the factory impact on air pollution, the government silently opposed so and even moved the weekend to prevent people's participation to the protest actions (https://ejatlas.org/conflict/controversy-over-planned-paraxylene-px-plan...). The public now can only show their anger through WeChat (a Chinese messenger mobile app).

To breathe clean air is a basic human right. As a world leader in protecting human rights, the U.S. has a moral obligation to ensure the public in Chengdu has their voice heard.
