We the people demand that ammo stockpiling by The Department of Homeland Security be halted immediately

DHS, has placed two-years worth of ammunition, or nearly 247 million rounds, in its inventory to date and more concerns over reports of DHS’s plan to purchase another 750 million rounds of ammunition over the next five years, despite having a two-year stockpile saved up. This action by DHS has helped lead to ammo shortages nation wide and also caused ammunition prices to spike dramatically. This petition was put in place to support the “AMMO” Act, currently under consideration. We find that the actions of DHS is irresponsible with the tax payer funds and is indirectly related to a unrest and fear induced into every responsible gun owner nation wide. With so many military forces to protect us DHS actions are unfounded. We the people have the right of ammunition be readily available to us
