We The People call upon the government of the United States of America to create legislation prohibiting the ban of non-essential features and components associated with firearms at the federal and state level. Any type of ban on firearm components that does not effect the functionality of any type of weapon platform should not be permissible as it has absolutely zero logical reasoning behind it except to hinder law abiding citizens from legally obtaining certain types of firearms. Examples of such features and components are pistol grips, magazine ejection buttons and any other type of furniture in general along with muzzle accessories such as flash hiders and recoil compensators. Arbitrary legislation banning these components is not important nor will it prevent criminal activities.
