We the People, demand that President Obama withdrawals the 250 American combat troops deployed in Syria as soon as possible. This act is clearly a broken promise by the President himself, a family tragedy for those deployed, a financial burden on the US economy, and potentially, a diplomatic crisis all in the same time. The People are concerned that the use of said ground troops are directed towards the Russian Federation and the Syrian government rather than the Islamic State. This act by President Obama is seen as an irresponsible and dangerous one with little to no representation of the American people. However, constant air and drone strikes on terrorists ONLY, is still encouraged by this petition. In conclusion, We the People demand that these troops return to their families at once.
