INTERNET & OTHER FREEDOMS ARE AT STAKE! The Trans-Pacific Partnership is being conducted in secret. It grants far-reaching new rights/privileges to corporations, which may directly sue a government & demand enormous financial compensation. The grievance would be heard by the TPP international tribunal, whose judges are corporate lawyers. Numerous issues are included (e.g., labor rights, healthcare), & INTERNET USERS MAY BE CRIMINALIZED! It forces providers to collect/hand over private data w/o safeguards, remove online content (incl. websites), terminate user access, seize user computers, fine & jail users! The TPP, as it stands, has no place in a democracy! It is a function of plutocratic autocracy!
