The United States has long been an ally of the nation of Israel, and the relationship has been mutually beneficial. The current administration's decision to undermine our ally at the UN Security Council on December 23, 2016 seriously jeopardizes not only our relationship with the nation of Israel, but also peace and stability in the volatile Middle East region.
We the People strongly urge the Obama administration to refrain from taking any more actions to undermine Israel -- especially at the UN level -- so as to avoid further destabilization of ties with our good ally.
We the People also strongly urge the Obama administration to refrain from undermining Israel and to respect our ally and its positions at the international foreign ministers’ meeting in Paris on January 15, 2017.
