Amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America; Amendment 1 clearly states that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." On behalf of all citizens of the United States of America, we look to summon the 114th congress to a scheduled vote on universal gun control, and gun violence prevention that would expand background checks and ban sales to those on the "no fly watch list." We also look to the Government to keep guns out of the wrong hands, make communities safer, increase mental health measures, and expand gun safety technology.
