We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

We the people petition to abolish the Winner-Take-All Electoral College in both the primary and general election.

Created by M.F. on November 10, 2016

We the people petition to abolish the Winner-Take-All Electoral College practice in both the primary election and general election for 2020 and beyond. The current Electoral College system does not accurately reflect the majority belief of the American population. Undue stress is placed on 6-10 battleground states while leaving the vast majority of the nation unrepresented, and unacknowledged. Though it is not written into the original intent of the constitution, debated at the constitutional convention, or mentioned in the federalist papers, it has become an accepted practice that is overdue for representative change. In 2/10 of the most recent Presidential Elections results did not represent the people under this policy. We the people believe each American's vote should count.
