We the people petition against the army banning certain African American women hairstyles while serving for this country

Created by J.B. on April 23, 2014

The Army should not have the right to regulate what hairstyles African American women should wear due to the fact that the ones who made this outlandish decision don't understand anything about African American hair at all. The natural hair of African American people's hair is curly and tight and that is why corn rows, locs, and dreadlocks were created centuries ago (a fact). People who don't have this type of hair should not be creating regulations about something they don't even understand.
