We the people petition House Speak John Boehner and the House to immediately pass and implement unemployment extension benefits for the long-term unemployed.
Our fellow Americans deserve the same aide and assistance in trying times that we bestow on foreign countries. Those unemployed, through no fault of their own, should not be forced into poverty yet our government has been slow to respond and react....just as they were to the American people after hurricane Katrina.
Unless we all speak up LOUD and TOGETHER this will continue to be their standard operating procedure.
