We the people believe that the Obama Administration should issue a formal apology for the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was a use of excessive force that killed many civilians. Japan has apologize multiple times for their actions during World War II. Japanese Prime Minister stated "deep repentance" on April 29, 2015 during his first speech at a Joint session of the United States Congress.
Within the first 4 months after the Hiroshima bombing, between 90,000-166,000 people lost their life's and between 40,000-80,000 lost their life's in the Nagasaki bombing 3 days after. Half of all those deaths happened the first day, the rest were the result of the aftermath caused by such powerful weapons.
The United States is the greatest nation in the World but its people are even greater.
