Gun Laws:Lets do something that makes sense. Bans and proposing to make people who currently and legally own firearms which will be made illegal if such a proposal is passed isn't going to do anything other then create more crime. It will make currently law abiding citizens criminals.
There will still be illegal gun sales and possession no matter what anyone says or does.
An action that would make a lot more sense and keep our rights in tact would be to require more checks and ownership of a weapon's registration prior to the purchase or sale of firearms no matter where the sale happens. Include fingerprinting, mental stability evaluation, and character references. And make illegal ownership, sale, and possession of a firearm a federal violation with a long term sentence out of society.
