We the People petition our Government to enact greater protections for our children. It must be law that every teacher be licensed to carry concealed weapons. Someone incapable of passing basic requirements of obtaining this permit would not be considered competent in the care of our children. After obtaining this permit, teachers uncomfortable w/carrying a weapon would not be required to do so.
School administrations would be responsible to determine which teachers are willing to carry a firearm & to ensure that a minimum of 1 teacher per 50 students be armed at all times. The teachers armed would be known only to the school administration. This would keep attackers from targeting/avoiding security teachers.
