We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

We the people propose that a Federal Policy be considered that regulates the Electoral College voting procedures.

Created by W.G. on November 10, 2016

The current Electoral College process does not represent the individual voters. We propose that Federal Policy be enacted to require an Elector to cast a vote that reflects the winning candidate for the congressional district the Elector represents. This will more accurately reflect the popular vote. As it stands, the majority of the states require the electors to vote based on the candidate winning the overall state which does not accurately allocate votes for either candidate. This leads to voters to feel that their individual votes do not count, especially in states where one party traditionally dominates a state such as California, Alabama, Texas, Alaska, Hawaii, New York , DC and Washington.
