James Comey, Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has engaged in actions against the public interest and against established Department of Justice policies in his handling of the Clinton email investigation. Considering the partisan attempts to influence the upcoming US presidential race, an investigation into his action related to his recent letter to Congress and his actions in presenting personal opinions during a press conference and Congressional hearings in July 2016, an independent prosecutor should be appointed to determine if any of his actions violate federal laws, regulations or policies.
