We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

We the people request the electoral college to consider voting for the popular vote, to avoid a bad presidency.

Created by D.I. on November 10, 2016

The electoral college will vote on choosing our next president on December 19th and we urge the electoral college to vote against what could be a bad presidency. Our nation has progressed a lot and we should stand for what we believe in, freedom. Though our democracy which was founded by our founding fathers allow for the electoral college to choose our next president, we as a nation should consider choosing the popular vote if we feel that the current presidential candidate is a threat to this great nation. Here we urge the electoral college to cast their votes carefully when voting for the future of our nation. We say no to bigotry, racism, sexism, and any other inhumane issues.
