We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

We the people request that Pres Obama grant pardons to all non violent inmates who are jailed for possession charges.

Created by F.C. on November 10, 2016

We the American People ask that President Barak Obama to grant pardons to all who are imprisoned for non violent drug possession charges. We feel that the incalculable number of American Citizens who are in jails is deplorable. Particularly in the case of those that are in the for profit prison system. Many should have never entered a prison in the first place. The fact that these people are predominiatly urban, minority and poor only reinforces the issue. We do not feel that those that would cause harm to others should enjoy this pardon, but those what were arrested and convicted of crimes that have no consequence on anyone but them selves should be allowed their freedom. As marijuanna become legal in more states, it seem insane that these harmless folks not be given their freedom.
