Impose sanctions on individuals who have commit human rights violations in Venezuela
We the people request that targeted financial sanctions be imposed on persons responsible for violations of human rights of antigovernment protesters in Venezuela.
Likewise, we the people request the U.S government to hold accountable government and security officials in Venezuela responsible for or complicit in the use of force in relation to the antigovernment protests that began on February 12, 2014. By the same token we request that the U.S government apply its economic and political pressure on Venezuelan officials for the persecution of political opponents, dissenting media, and similar acts that are in violation of civil, political and human rights”.
