Get rid of the Staten Island bound bridge tolls. It is unfair that every single time we leave the Island, we have to pay a toll just to come home. Whether we are driving 10 minutes away to New Jersey or 20 minutes away to Brooklyn, there is always a toll. It almost feels as though we are trapped in Staten Island. It is very burdensome especially for the people who travel everyday. Please keep in mind that Staten Island is very limited and for many people these bridges are a necessity. It is also unfair that in order to go from Brooklyn to the very popular Island of Manhattan there is an option of three toll free bridges. Yet all three bridges that go to Staten Island have costly tolls.
