In lieu of US State Department recommendation of a vote recount in Venezuela, when not even the actual candidate involved had not formally solicited such recount,we people of Unasur request your formal recognition of elected President N.Maduro as Constitutional President of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in order to trigger the necessary constitutional steps.
State Dept recommendation has been misinterpreted and some thugs have taken it as an accusation of fraud.
Therefore,some violence has erupted and your administration may be wrongly signalled as a promoter of such undemocratic acts.
