We the people of the United states of America would like to repeal the unconstitutional laws against firearm possession for a felon. The Constitution clearly states that everyone has the right to bear arms and that these laws should never be changed.In 1982 the government passed laws against felons from ever owning a firearm. The thing is that felons who have did small crimes without any violence against any other person also lost their rights. Like someone who has a possession of stolen goods charge which anyone can get from a flea market purchase. Or to many DWI charges can also get your gun rights took away.Crimes which the person has not committed violence against another person.I think non violent felons should be able to own a rifle or shotgun for protection.
