1)To those who question the origional intent of the founding fathers in the second amendment: One of the major contributors to our ability to win the revolutionary war was that we, the citizens of the United States, had access to some of the best engineered rifles at the time and could shoot 3 times as far as the british in some cases. We used these rifles to win the war by sniping the british from affair.
2)Our government cannot currently keep illegal drugs out of the country and out of the the hands of its citizens. Because of this, the people of this petition do not believe that a law can be used to stop those who do not believe in following them.
3)Assault rifles are easier to use by our wives and daughters than shotguns and can be used to protect them from multiple aggressors.
