We the people urge congress to slow the pace at which it is moving toward rash gun control actions due to the fact that those decisions are most likely emotionally based in the shadow of the recent Newtown CT shooting that may lead to rushed irrational legislation.
We the people would like congress to make a rational, intelligent, decision on what actionable solutions can be implamented for public security/gun control in a way that is fair for everyone. This can not be achieved immediately after such a horrific event,so we ask congress to allow time for the mental fog from this atrocity to dissipate before acting in a rash manner and open a dialog from all channels that concern public safety and gun control.
Respectfully,
J.T. Williams
