We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

We the people want our overtime pay to be non taxable.

Created by D.H. on July 06, 2016

Generally speaking, people who work overtime do not do it because they want to. We the people, do it because we have to. Taxes are paid on base pay with base hours. If an employee works twenty extra hours a week, it isnt for the IRS to claim more than what the employee gets out of it. The IRS or the federal government has done nothing to earn the extra taxes out of the overtime. Therefore it should be non taxable.
