President elect Donald Trump promised the American people that his first priority was to build a wall between Mexico and the United States. Furthermore he said this would be paid for by Mexico. As of January 6th, he intends to put forth a proposal that Congress should e-mark federal funds to build the wall. In addition he intends to create a tax to pay for it. We the people will reject this proposal based on the lack of federal funding and the debt we currently have accrued.
