We petition Congress and the President of the United States to assist in the liberation of the North Korean people.

Created by I.J. on March 05, 2013

The North Korean Government (DPRK) has increased its use of slave labor in what are commonly known as "gulags". These gulags institute a practice of "generational punishment" imprisoning the children and grandchildren of those found to be dissidents. The North Korean population is constantly on the verge of starvation due to their government's actions. The DPRK has threatened the United States with nuclear warfare on several occasions and have provocatively tested nuclear weapons. Many international human rights groups have listed the DPRK as having the worst record for human rights violations. We must assist in liberating the North Korean people and assisting our friends in South Korea through diplomacy with China (PRC) or with military intervention.
