We petition that the House of Representatives (Congress and the Senate) have term limits to prevent life-long terms.

As it is now Representatives and Delegates serve for two-year terms, and can continue to apply for reelection indefinitely. By limiting the number of times a representative can be elected you deter the corruption that is created by a life-long privilege that comes with a seat in the House. This also creates a stronger, diverse and more accurate representation of the American People.
