New York State does not use referendum. Referendum is a public vote on a statute or constitutional amendment that has already been considered by a state legislature or local government. I believe the absence of referendum slashes our power of our voice. The voice that our founding fathers attended us to have. Petitioning for Referendum will give the power back to the people, and have our voice be easier heard. Give the power to the PEOPLE of this great state of New York State.
