We the nurses of Arizona expect to be paid for our education and experience fairly. Patients are at risk from companies that decrease staff to serve their interest. Nurses are being hired on to full time positions and then without notice, changed to piece work. This takes away health care, retirement, life insurance from nurses who have worked long and tireless hours to care for others. We are expected to put in office hours for free, as well as drive multiple miles without pay for our drive time. It is time that nurses stand up and be heard. Hospitals also expect nurses to work long tireless hours without adequate stafff in a job that is back breaking and often times dangerous to the nurses and patients. Please allow nurses to have equal rights and protection.
