We Petition the Obama Administration to declare it unconstitutional to deny felons the right to vote

The right to vote is the single right that appears most often in our Constitution. The right to vote appears five times in the text of the Constitution, and is mentioned in four separate amendments- the 15th, 19th, 24th, and 26th stating that "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged..." Granted the amendments were enacted to prevent discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or age, but being denied the right to vote for any reason is discriminatory. Voting is more important in this day and age than ever before, and I'm sure that a large constituency would be gained if convicted felons were to have this right reinstated. Thank you.
