We ask that the Obama Administration and Department of Justice to investigate all complaints of housing discrimination that are processed through Housing and Urban Development Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, State, Local and Non-profit agencies that adhere to Federal Laws that prohibit housing discrimination. According to HUD's own annual reporting of agencies processing these complaints closed almost 50% of Fair Housing complaints from filed between 2008 to 2011 (http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/documents/huddoc?id=FY2011_annual_rpt_fi...).
I have been a victim of housing discrimination and others I know and I believe the Obama Administration and Department of Justice need to have independent investigation of these agencies and how they process these complaints.
