In a recent story from the NY Times, http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/05/us/politics/waiting-times-to-vote-at-p... it has been demonstrated that minorities had significantly longer waiting times. In order to create a more uniform national election and open the process up to everyone Election Day should become a new national holiday.
