Sexual assault is getting worse. Many students are scared to come forwards due to fear of ridicule. Students are also scared that their school will handle their case completely wrong because colleges don't know how to handle sexual assault and high schoolers aren't getting punished adequately. Comprehensive Sex Education will teach students what consent is, how to expresses it, how to speak up against sexual assault, not to blame yourself, and many more things students of all ages need to know. We have the power to change the way kids think and feel about consent and sexual assault, we need to use it.
