The United States's constitution has made it clear that there is and should always be a separation of church and state. The United states treasury has failed to execute this important rule for government by printing "In god we trust" on our currency. We should revert back to our previous motto "E pluribus unum" (Out of many, one). Due to the current motto of the United States government us showing favoritism towards the religious and forgets about the rights of the nonreligious. This will ultimately divide people due to personal beliefs on the contrast if we remind people that together we are United we can all move forward towards a brighter future.
